Verdict

MADAME EXCELERATE looks the one to be on here now she's able to run off her correct mark following a fine effort when out of the weights at Carlisle. She did exceptionally well to go down by just a nose that day having been keen and her previous Redcar victory was impressive in the context of the grade. Brian Ellison took this race last year so watch out for support Royal Holiday in first-time blinkers, while handicap debutants Shethoughtshewas, Spread Boy and Brisbane also need a market check. The latter was backed to win races when with John Gosden but ultimately proved disappointing, while Shethoughtshewas makes more appeal than Spread Boy at these weights having finished well ahead of her at Thirsk. North Central is a maiden who may find his stamina stretched here while Military Call has work to do with the selected Madame Excelerate on their meeting last time.
