Verdict
Olympe De Gouges is penalised for beating higher-rated rivals in a maiden at Doncaster and is due to be raised a further 7lb after this. Thunder Ahead is also a maiden winner at Doncaster while Cuban Cigar beat Genuflex when successful in a juvenile hurdle at Kelso. INCA PRINCE is another handicapping for the first time having earlier completed a double including a victory over these hurdles with Collingham, a subsequent winner, back in third. Ruth Jefferson’s charge gets the vote in an open contest on that form.
