In depth
Verdict
Irish raider Not Today Sir has been in good form without actually winning races of late and is taken to gain a deserved success here at the main expense of The Weaver and Hello Baby. The last mentioned showed promise on his return at Hexham on which he holds solid claims but a subsequently disappointing effort at Newcastle leaves him with something to find so he may be best watched. Andy Crook's Pornic is on a long losing sequence and has been given little respite from the handicapper, while Lorio du Misselot has gave little sign of encouragement on his return but hails from a stable in good form. Len Lungo's The Weaver failed to complete in his last two starts of last season and may need the run on his reappearance so a safer would appear to be Not Today Sir, who holds solid claims on recent evidence.
