Verdict

The well-bred ALL AMERICAN was a little green on his debut over C&D at the start of the month but stayed on nicely inside the final quarter-mile and has scope for improvement. He's fancied to see off the challenge Donald McCain's newcomer Flicka Williams, who is a half-brother to bumper winner Blue Monster and sure to know his job. Points winner Brindisi Breeze may prove the pick of the remainder though Murkle Boy hinted at ability at Perth in the spring.
