In depth

Verdict

There's a few highly rated rivals in this claimer but CHARLIE COOL looks best of them at the weights and is given the vote. Tried in some valuable races this term the pick has been put into this grade the last twice and he lost nothing in defeat to plating specialist Fremen last time and this looks his race to lose. David Nicholls has a good record at this level this term and Bencoolen looks his best chance despite his son riding his other entry Kings Point. The first mentioned doesn't have a great deal to do on these terms and his win in a Beverley Handicap off 88 recently looks strong form. Red Jade should also have claims if running up to her rating but that is assured so Charlie Cool can get a belated score.
