        Verdict

        Moor Spirit is still on a handy weight and gets the vote over Hollows Mill, Noblefir and Case Of Poteen to name but three. Peter Beaumont has left Kylie Time in here under topweight so Moor Spirit can line up with just 10st 5lb on his back in his bid to follow up a win at Southwell around three weeks ago. The seven-year-old was having only his second outing for new connections when beating Pink Harbour, and although that was over two miles, he will have no difficulty with the longer trip today, and off just an eight-pound higher mark, he is the one to beat again. Hollows Mill will definitely appreciate the extra half-mile here and will be expected to come on for his chase debut second to Amadeus at Hexham. He will be there or thereabouts, but Noblefir has been given plenty of weight considering that he makes his debut over fences in handicap company. Case of Poteen was well behind the useful Fashion's Monty at Hexham last time but has won here in the past, albeit over hurdles. This should not really take too much winning, and Moor Spirit lines up in form so has obvious claims.
