Verdict

WALTZ DARLING is probably not the force of old but can’t get much lower in the weights and a return to hurdling could see Gillian Boanas’ 11-year-old end a long losing run with Ross Chapman’s claim a plus. Eric The Third is the obvious danger as he’s been making hay over fences, though is 21lb higher than when last successful over timber and trying 3m for the first time. Andhaar is usually thereabouts in this grade and Perseid could figure if a wind op has had the desired effect. Irish raider Diggin Deep may be best of the rest.
