Verdict
POPPET'S LOVEIN escaped with a 6lb rise from Newcastle and is put forwards as Burgundy Ice has to bounce back from a poor display; She's In The Money is feared most of the remainder. Andy Haynes' filly may be best known for being a half-sister to Overdose but she's fast making a name for herself and was very impressive last time. This is stronger but that was a taking performance and she has the beating of She's In The Money on that form with the Fahey filly just 2lbs better off for almost four lengths. She's In The Money has, of course, run well since and was a little unlucky in running at Newcastle so must be respected as must Burgundy Ice. She was sent off at a short price to win a better race than this at York following an encouraging return but she came up a long way short. The yard doesn't send many to this track and it will be interesting to see if there's any confidence behind her. The remainder are by no means dismissed but that trio appeal as the ones to concentrate on with Poppet's Lovein taken to come out on top.
