Verdict
St Savarin, Whippasnapper and Kirkby's Treasure look to be the principles in the finale with the vote going to St Savarin. The selection has run well to finish third on both of his recent outings at Beverley and he looks the percentage call in an open event. Whippasnapper was a beaten favourite on this track last time when not getting any luck in running behind Kirkby's Treasure. That horse loves it on this track and although Whippasnapper may get closer if he gets the race run more to suit, he still has it all to do to reverse the placings. Regent's Secret is from a yard that normally do well on this track so he has to be respected, while Richard Fahey's string are in good form so Blythe Spirit might be worth a second look in the market. However, for the winner we return to St Savarin.
