In depth

Verdict

Rutters Renegade has shown significant improvement for a step up in trip of late and is the TEAMtalk selection to concede weight all round. Alan Swinbank's charge followed victory in a minor event at Redcar by putting up arguably his best effort when a strong-finishing second in a conditions event over a mile at Ayr last week. A reproduction of that level of form may suffice at this level. Craic Sa Ceili shapes as though the step up to a mile would suit when doing her best work at the finish in a 7f claimer last time but this represents a step up in grade while Good Form and Manx Fizz were both beaten in selling company last time and neither look good enough so Sir Night who has been crying out for this trip looks best of the remainder.
