In depth

Verdict

ENGLES ROCK is 1-22 but very nearly doubled her winning tally in a better race than this at Doncaster last month and looks ready to win again. That was over 1m2f and Finally Mine was in the lead at this trip though didn't repeat the effort at Beverley next time. Caballero, a two-year-old winner here and at Newmarket, was heavily supported when bouncing back to form at Ayr on Monday where he just failed to hold Midnite Bride over 7f. He's on the same mark and is greatly respected while Ayr Poet is ideally suited by this trip and only just failed to concede 7lb to the winner over a mile on the same track on Tuesday. Foreseeable Future has been running well and was only beaten a neck in an amateurs' race over Doncaster straight mile on Saturday.
