In depth

Verdict

Heavenly Saint is the pick ahead of Lady Of The Park and Khandala, with Lady Bower worth a small mention. Heavenly Saint made her debut over five furlongs at Lingfield, but was stepped up to seven for her next start at Folkestone where she made a lot of the running. Mick Channon's filly, a daughter of Bertolini, still has plenty of growing to do and will be more the finished article next year, but she does not have much to beat here, and can make experience count over Lady Of The Park. Paul Blockley's inmate, a half-sister to plenty of winners, made an encouraging debut when third at Wolverhampton, but she will need to improve again. Khandala travelled like a dream on her Windsor bow, but was never put into the thick of the action, finishing in mid-division in the end. She has a lot more to offer, and we can expect a bold show from Michael Bell's young lady. Mark Johnston's runner Lady Bower is already more exposed, and so we return to Heavenly Saint as the answer.
