In depth

Verdict

The Wise One looked in need of the outing here three weeks ago and ran accordingly. He’s better than that and is one of only two previous course winners in the line-up. The other is Professor Plum but he hasn’t offered much encouragement lately. COURT BALOO was ahead of the latter at Kelso last month having led until the second-last. He may hang on for longer on this easier track. Minnie Milan looks best of the rest ahead of Border Victor.
