        Verdict

        Redcar winner BAHAMIAN DESERT went close to defying 6lb extra at Newcastle last time and can go one better in this. Brooke's Bounty was still beaten four lengths when runner-up here recently while Luv U was beaten a similar distance when second at Chepstow and steps up in trip. Ellaal has plenty to prove over today's distance and plating race winner Beijing Star was well beaten in a handicap at Beverley last time. The unreliable Graceful Act went close at Redcar in between a couple of poor efforts and can figure if in the mood.
