Division Two of this handicap looks a bit better than the first with INTREPID PRINCE (NAP) entering the fray with a penalty for Friday's victory at Galway. Michael O'Callaghan's was gaining his first victory but was well supported and likely to go up much more than the 5lb extra he carries here. Shepherds Crook was having just his fifth start when third to Suvenna at Listowel and should make further progress while Ross O'Sullivan's UK recruit Bad Penny has been showing good pace over a mile so the drop in trip will suit. Pillar is still a maiden after a dozen starts but is consistent enough and could make the frame again.
