In depth

Verdict

Prince Erik has made a good start over fences but ideally requires a much stiffer test of stamina than he's likely to get here and only led at the last over 2m4f at Sligo for his first chasing success at Sligo. CADSPEED was a useful if luckless performer over timber and made a promising start over fences behind Torpichen. Normal progress will see him difficult to beat though Uncle Tom Cobley has done well on his two starts over fences and won't go down without a fight. Dundrum, a faller in Torpichen's race at Clonmel, was a progressive hurdler in 2009 and looks the type to do well over the bigger obstacles.
