Verdict

Rain God is running with a first-time visor on his reappearance and looks a little high in the ratings for what he's achieved, though no doubt there'll be improvement to come. Estinaad also has a long absence to overcome but she showed enough in her first season to merit consideration but the vote goes to KING OLIVER. He'd shown glimpses of ability before racing at Gowran on Thursday where he set the pace and almost pulled off a surprise victory, just being caught on the line by Queen Of The Sand. Racing from the same mark here he gets the vote, though Rapid Approach is likely to prove a threat as he scored over this trip at Gowran before fading over a mile at the Curragh.
