Border Control showed a bit of potential in bumpers and on his hurdling bow at Leopardstown and should be showing some improvement soon. Winning point-to-pointer and bumper GROTESQUE made a poor start over timber when well beaten at odds-on but did much better at Leopardstown last time and is likely to make further progress. He gets the vote over Another Barney, a winner between the flags in May and related to plenty of winning jumpers. The latter's stable companion Love And Wishes may do best of the remainder.
