In depth

Verdict

GITANE DU BERLAIS won the Grade 1 Scilly Isles at Sandown a year ago but has become extremely disappointing and has now been a short-priced beaten favourite in her last five starts. However, she's been racing in much stronger company than here and though penalised gets a chance to return to winning ways. In receipt of a stone, Carrigmoorna Rock looks a danger as she arrives in top form after her recent victory at Thurles where she jumped well and stayed on strongly. Queens Wild is progressing nicely and followed her Grade 3 success at Navan with a narrow defeat by Aunt Nora in a Thurles Grade 2 when I'm All You Need fell five out.
