In depth

Verdict

The Long Mile was engaged in a similar event at Gowran yesterday so that result should be monitored as he's been in excellent form. Castle Oliver is going from strength to strength and completed his hat-trick in a Grade B handicap here though he's never raced over a trip this far and is 9lb higher. CHEB DE KERVINIOU had some smart form in similar company in France and has done well for Gordon Elliott, despite not having won. He jumps and stays and will enjoy the conditions so can gain his first success for new connections. His stable have three other entries with Monbeg Notorious looking to find some form before the Grand National. Bonbon Au Miel was last seen running in the RSA at Cheltenham in 2018 and could be making his handicap debut on a lenient mark.
