Verdict

Willie Mullins has won two of the last three of these and PRAVALAGUNA should carry on the sequence. A winner on the Flat and over hurdles, she jumped really well and was always in command on just her second start over fences at Limerick in December and, though dropping back in trip, should have enough pace to see off these rivals. Synopsis is another who would prefer further but she looks a big threat on her 10-length victory over 2m4f at Cheltenham in December. She was nowhere near her best in a Listed contest at Huntingdon later and is greatly respected. Mrs Lovett was also out of sorts in a Listed contest at Warwick where she probably didn't enjoy the sticky ground after completing a double on quicker going, the latest in a tough 2m4f handicap at Fairyhouse. Teacher's Pet was less than two lengths behind in that latter event when conceding 9lb so there should be little between them again but Grand National entry Baie Des Iles, a Grade 2 winner over 2m6f on testing ground at Auteuil in June, is likely to find this too short with his penalty.
