Verdict
Fairly Legal was in poor form in 2017/18 but returned after a long break to finish a close second in a similar race to this at Gowran in February. ASK HEATHER (NAP), unbeaten in three starts between the flags, will have found 2m on the short side when reappearing at Tramore but battled to victory and looks well enough treated to go in again, especially with Liam Quinlan's claim a bonus. Arctic Light ran five times over fences in 2017 without showing much but has improved over timber recently so looks on a fair mark. Carrigready was getting a lot of weight when runner-up at Navan in September while Western Sea ran poorly at Thurles last month after scoring at Sligo.
