In depth

Verdict

Forty Foot Tom had some decent form last season and has probably needed his two starts at Punchestown this term. Top Spin was useful on the Flat but has been struggling in testing conditions over hurdles and this looks between Lean Times and LORD GALE. The former looked a certain future winner over timber when runner-up to Rourke's Cross at Fairyhouse but never really got involved on his next start over this C&D and can definitely do better. Lord Gale has cost his supporters dear on his two runs over timber at Fairyhouse but it was no disgrace to finish third behind to stablemate Vesper Bell last time and losses can be recouped here. Mystic Desir has some useful form but ran so poorly at Leopardstown last time when jumping badly to the right that he's best watched for now.
