Verdict

DRUID'S ALTAR and Autumn Evening finished almost upsides at Fairyhouse though a long way behind the winner. They had Limerick winner Awkwafina 11 lengths further back and it's difficult to choose between the former pair, who look evenly matched, though the vote just goes to the former. Sideshift, a winner on the all-weather at Dundalk, made a bright start over timber for Gordon Elliott when a close second at Galway but didn't improve on that at Fairyhouse in a race that hasn't worked out. Zoffanien can reverse earlier Limerick form with Awkwafina on the revised terms and ran very well in what looked a strong event won by Coltor here a fortnight ago.
