Verdict

RED TRAIL completed a double before a poor run over hurdles where she wasn't at her best. She can bounce back as though Eloquent Arthur has twice finished behind the in-form Simply Sidways in recent weeks, it's well over a year since he last won. Fools Glory has been very consistent but has now been beaten off this mark or lower in her last nine starts. Tim Doyle's horses continue in outstanding form and Alfalfa looked ideally suited to soft ground when landing a 1m4f Thurles handicap. Dropping back in trip won't be a problem but he'll be racing from a much higher mark here. Bridge Of Dawn was behind the selection at Listowel but watch the market for any interest in Rhythm And Tyne, the only three-year-old in the line-up and tackling heavy ground for the first time.
