Lagostovegas did very well when runner-up to a couple of useful types on her opening runs over hurdles but didn't appear to appreciate the very testing ground when third to Ivanovich Gorbatov at Leopardstown. With the ground again riding heavy and a stiff track to contend with she may not be able to cope with that winner's stable companion BEST KEPT SECRET. A low-class handicapper on the Flat, Aidan O'Brien's charge made an excellent start over timber on heavy ground at Punchestown where he had his much better fancied stablemate King Of Aragon behind and looks like making a much better hurdler. Newberry New and Ainslie were a long way behind in that event and the former Italian Flat winner Authorized Cadeaux looks best of Gordon Elliott's trio but Vocal Heir has yet to encounter this sort of ground.
