Verdict

Jim Bolger has landed this for the past two years and will be hoping Cleofila makes it a hat-trick but she will need to do much better than on her reappearance at Navan where she finished a long way behind Kissed and a couple of lengths behind runner-up Aaraas. The latter competed at a high level with distinction in her first season and should again go well though WAS looks the one to beat. Aidan O'Brien's Galileo filly cost an incredible 1,200,000 guineas as a yearling and made a nice start in a maiden at the Curragh in August. She's in every major race this summer and should make a winning reappearance. Shebella defied inexperience to come with a late run and snatch the spoils over 7f at Limerick and she is promising as is Princess Highway, the only one of these to have scored over the trip.
