In depth

Verdict

Dandyman Port was engaged at Cork yesterday but was beaten 2l by Aspen Belle on testing ground at Cork last month and is no better off in the weights. The winner has no form on this sort of ground though it was good going when she ran well at Listowel earlier this month. AURORA ECLIPSE is another who has never faced quick ground and it was heavy when she produced a cracking effort in a much better race than this at the Curragh last time. If she handles the conditions she'll be very difficult to beat. Clare Island has done better at Dundalk and finished last on her reappearance on fast going at Navan.
