This all two-year-old meeting gets under way with a fillies' maiden in which Afar is likely to be supported to gain compensation for her defeat at the Curragh. A daughter of Galileo and a half-sister to a couple of smart winners, she started 7/4 favourite in a field of 20 but couldn't quite get there when mounting a challenge and faded inside the final furlong.
