Verdict

Fakir D'Oudaries had an excellent juvenile hurdling campaign before turning his hand to jumping fences. A Grade 1 victory in the Drinmore at Fairyhouse was the highlight, though a narrow defeat behind Put The Kettle On in the Arkle at Cheltenham was another superb effort. In between those runs he was beaten just over a length by NOTEBOOK in the Grade 1 Racing Post at Leopardstown when the winner was conceding 7lb. Henry De Bromhead's charge started favourite for the Arkle but ran poorly while Cash Back was beaten when falling two out. The latter had been beaten less than a length by the selection in the Leopardstown Arkle and is 8lb better off so the trio should provide a real thriller in what should be a very informative race.
