Baldomero's neck defeat at Leopardstown was a very good effort and he didn't enjoy much softer ground at Cork next time. Chicago Black Hawk's three lengths third behind Van Gogh at the Curragh in September is easily the best form on view though he's disappointed in two starts this season. Hamwood Flier showed real potential in her first campaign and will be better for her comeback at Listowel though the form hasn't worked out.
