Verdict

Some disappointing types here and CASTLETOWNSHEND may be capable of conceding weight to younger rivals. Ted Walsh's charge has now had ten starts without winning but was narrowly beaten in a handicap here in May before a fine run in a much better race at the Curragh. Fairy Fort looked a potential future winner when a close fourth over a mile at Limerick but didn't have the pace when dropped down to 7f at Fairyhouse and this is even shorter. Sacchoandvanzetti has been showing good pace over further though his best runs have been on ground with plenty of give so some rain would aid his cause while Kevin Prendergast's newcomer Jungle City is a half-sister to six winners including the speedy Bond City.
