Verdict
Minella Fair won a bumper then a 2m6f maiden hurdle at Punchestown before finding 3m in Grade 2 company too much to handle at Limerick. He'll be better back in his correct grade but CONTINGENCY will take some beating. Willie Mullins' charge completed a double over 2m5f then ran a fine race over a trip too short in a Grade B handicap at Leopardstown, a race that has already worked out well. His stable companion Uradel looked ready for a step-up in trip when getting up close home over the minimum at Listowel while Best Behavior has been progressing nicely and looked ideally suited by this trip and ground here a fortnight ago. The four-year-old Pete So High disappointed when odds-on here last time after beating what looked a decent field at Thurles.
