Verdict

Damian English is trying to strike while the iron is not with last Thursday's Tipperary winner Bluesbreaker, who has also won at Cork this season. But he does appear to have two ways of running and won’t find it easy under a 5lb penalty. An Saighdiur, MASTER SPEAKER and Brelades Bay were all behind last year's winner Bubbly Bellini at the Curragh last month but the latter has disappointed since and Martin Hassett's charge had absolutely no luck in-running. The top weight deserves another chance to open his account for the season and is preferred to In Salutem, who should have benefited from his run behind Mr Right at the Curragh. Great Wide Open beat Mr Right at Dundalk last month so also enters the equation.
