Verdict

Joseph O'Brien has three entries with The Gunner Murphy making his handicap debut over fences. Placed in his last four starts over hurdles, he's on a lowly mark over fences after three moderate runs and better is expected. Caravation has been making steady progress over fences and had plenty in hand when landing a beginners' race here three weeks ago. A useful hurdler, she'll be well suited by stepping up in trip and will take some beating. Best Behavior didn't have much chance in his first four starts over fences against strong opposition but had few problems making a successful handicap debut at Leopardstown though an 8lb rise makes this more difficult. STONES AND ROSES gained a comfortable victory at Cork and started a short-priced favourite next time at Limerick but a bad mistake saw him pulled up. He can gain compensation on his handicap debut.
