Verdict

Joseph O'Brien has three entries here and Mark Walsh would have had the choice of either A Year To Remember or Successor. He's on board the former, who made a very promising debut over timber at Punchestown then finished lame at Fairyhouse a couple of weeks ago. The stable also run Theydon Park, who dead-heated for a Huntingdon bumper in October though the form hasn't worked out. LEOMAR, a winner on heavy ground on the Flat in Germany, started odds-on for his debut for Gordon Elliott in similar conditions at Limerick but couldn't quite get past Tout Est Permis. He will have come on a bundle for that experience and looks the one to beat. Grande Waltz won a 1m3f handicap at Limerick in October and is one to note while Gigginstown paid 44,000gns for Vermeulen after he won on the Polytrack at Kempton for John Gosden.
