VOIX DES TIEP has looked in need of a stiffer test of stamina in both starts to date and should get it here and will be very difficult to beat. Mount Pelier started out with a fair run over hurdles then did well to finish runner-up to the promising Carefully Selected at Leopardstown while winning point-to-pointer Batcio would be interesting if attracting market support. Gallant John Joe made his debut in the lucrative Goffs Land Rover Bumper at Punchestown in April and did very well to finish fourth so it would be no surprise to see a big run from the well-connected son of Presenting.
