Verdict

Racegoers will be thrilled to see the return of CAPTAIN CEE BEE, who beat two of these rivals to land the Grade 1 Ryanair Chase at Punchestown. Edward Harty's charge had been a major disappointment in the Arkle at Cheltenham previously but put matters straight with a much better round of jumping. The rapidly improving Psycho fell too far out to ascertain whether he would have been involved in the finish though he was travelling very well at the time and is 7lbs better off but Archie Boy had every chance and hasn't progressed as much as expected. Edward O'Grady won this a year ago with Tranquil Sea and Catch Me, who goes well fresh and was in good form in Grade 1's at the end of last year, will have been primed for this.
