Verdict

ANNIE EDSON TAYLOR, who is related to several winners, looks very well bought at 20,000gns after the daughter of Mayson came from the rear to get within a length of the winner over the course and distance early last month. That's the best form on view as Bruce Lightning has run poorly since a promising debut at Cork though will be suited by the ground conditions. Babyface has a very speedy pedigree and is one to keep an eye on while Qatar Racing paid €190,000 for Southbank at the sales a year ago.
