        Verdict

        After two very promising runs in the spring, MARISTELLA (NAP) reappeared a month ago with a smooth victory on soft ground at Galway. She was undoubtedly well handicapped there but an 11lb rise looks manageable and the race has worked out well. Eastern Wind was beaten a head by the in-form Earls at Listowel and is only 1lb higher. Miramis bounced back to form after a poor spell with a comfortable victory at Punchestown though the main danger looks to be Perfect Thunder, who steps up in trip after finishing with a flourish over 7f at Fairyhouse.
