Verdict

Avenir D'une Vie started odds-on for his bumper debut at Punchestown three weeks ago but dropped away very quickly in the closing stages so it's difficult to know what to make of him at present. Delegate was a bit disappointing in his early runs when strongly fancied and is reverting to a bumper after two efforts over timber. Knockraha King showed some promise on his opening run at Killarney in May where he was in the front rank until fading in the closing stages. Adrian Maguire should have him spot-on and he should go well. ALLENSTOWN KID wasn't beaten far by subsequent dual bumper winner Yorkhill in a point-to-point in December and was returning from almost a year off when fourth here a month ago. He appeared to blow up after travelling well and with that under his belt can take this.
