Verdict

Not much in the way of form here though Annakrista, four times a winner on the Flat in Germany, showed enough promise on her second run for new connections at Down Royal last month to be on the short-list. Dual Flat winner Cnocan Diva should be capable of better than she's shown to date over timber while it's about time New River was losing her maiden tag and she produced her best effort to date behind Royal Flight at Fairyhouse in February. KATES BENEFIT, twice a winning bumper, started favourite on her second start over hurdles at Fairyhouse after an initial third place in a strong Naas maiden. She set much too fast a pace in that 2m4f event and weakened quickly but faster ground and this shorter trip can enable her to get off the mark over hurdles.
