Verdict
Special Tiara was beaten 11 lengths by TWINLIGHT in this last year but improved out of all recognition later, culminating in a brilliant victory in a Sandown Grade 1. That said, the winner did not exactly stand still either with victory over Hidden Cyclone in the Grade 1 Dial A Bet at Leopardstown a highlight, when Bright New Dawn was ten lengths behind, and is taken to conform that form and win this for a second time. Flemenstar had won the two previous renewals and beat rival Days Hotel just over a length in 2013 so there may be little between that pair again.
