Verdict
Chris's Dream is a proper staying type who won a Grade 3 over hurdles at Clonmel before running well for a long way in the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham. But he's up against a couple with decent form over fences including Kagney, not beaten far on his debut at Kilbeggan in April and another who will stay further in time, and GUN DIGGER. The latter did well to win a bumper and a novices' hurdle as he's always looked a chaser. He made a very encouraging start behind Dr Mikey at Gowran and the winner could give the form a boost in the previous race. Shady Operator is very lightly raced but has some smart form to his credit over hurdles, especially when runner-up to Sharjah at Gowran last November, so he's an obvious threat on his chasing bow
