In depth

Verdict

Isle Of Sark is top-rated here on the back of a good run in the Ballysax but he was very disappointing at Cork a few days later. Matchless has been mixing it with the big boys this season including when acting as a pacemaker in the Irish derby so he should find this more to his liking. Ottoman Emperor followed his maiden victory at Cork by making most in a Gowran handicap and is clearly progressing nicely but those who saw TAZARAL land his maiden on the latter track last month can't fail to have been impressed and he can take this step-up in class in his stride. The filly Theory Of Music is improving and her allowance should see her competitive though she could just find this on the short side.
