Verdict
LAST TIME D'ALBAIN reverted back to hurdling at Fairyhouse on a very lenient mark and never really looked like failing. He's been raised 8lb but is still very well treated compared to his chase rating and should win again. Cool Oscar hadn't shown much for a while before a cracking effort in a huge field here in September. He showed that was no fluke by scoring easily at Thurles and looks certain to get involved despite a 9lb rise. Whiskey And Red was around eight lengths behind at Thurles but is better off at the weights and has a chance of reversing the form despite a subsequent defeat. Tarquinius has been chasing and Volkis O'Blue> looks a little high in the weights.
