Faulty failed to complete in two starts between the flags but has done well in bumpers. Winning bumper Firm Footings, one of four Gordon Elliott entries, has run into some smart winners over timber though was beaten a long way at Fairyhouse last time. His stable companion Zefiro Dodville has a fine jumping pedigree and won a point at Portrush in October while dual Flat winner Walhaan will improve for his run at Fairyhouse. HORANTZAU D'AIRY won a bumper in France in 2020 and was returning from a very long break when beaten six lengths at Leopardstown in December 2021. He has another long absence to overcome but can go one better and justify an entry in the Supreme Novices’.
