      Verdict

      David Wachman won the first running of this last year and punters will no doubt expect his Cougar Ridge to follow suit after his impressive opening run at Leopardstown. He's likely to be at short odds here, however, so a chance is taken with newcomer GEORGE VANCOUVER. Aidan O'Brien's colt cost 450,000 dollars as a yearling and is a half-brother to several useful performers in the USA. Katchy Lady couldn't quite handle Listed company at the Curragh after scoring on testing ground at Tipperary but still has the beating of Tennessee Wildcat on that latest run.
