Rebel Early looked to have a chance in the 2.19 at Gowran yesterday so that result should be monitored. Rapid Response might have gone close at Naas but for a mistake at a crucial time and should get into contention but MY CLUB COLOURS (NAP) is probably still well handicapped despite an 8lb rise for her Punchestown victory where she was always travelling well. Bay Ambition scored over 2m6f at Downpatrick and this trip looked a bit short at Limerick last time. So Near So Farhh had shown nothing over hurdles before battling to victory at Down Royal, though that was over 2m.
