Verdict

Atlantic Shore and Captain Cj are point-to-point winners but face stiff tasks against a couple of promising types. Denwork looks certain to be suited by this trip after staying on over 2m4f here last time and though DIAMOND TURF was beaten a long way by First Approach at Down Royal, the winner had a fitness advantage and Jack Kennedy didn't punish his mount when his chance had gone. The latter looks the one to beat though Carlisle bumper winner Largy Glory, a four-year-old filly, can use her allowances to get competitive on her hurdling debut.
